Kill Devil Hills

To the south of Kitty Hawk is Kill Devil Hills. It is home to just over 7,000 people who call it their own. However, despite its small size, Kill Devil Hills has a lot to offer visitors and residents alike. The town’s location on North Carolina’s Outer Banks places it in one of the most picturesque environments along the Eastern Seaboard – with miles of pristine beaches and natural beauty as far as you can see!

Kill Devil Hills is home to many beautiful beaches and has a long tradition of fishing. The town itself offers a variety of shops, restaurants, hotels, thousands of beach homes, and more! Whether you’re looking for an experience in the calm waters of the Albemarle Sound or want a day of surfing, fishing, or relaxing at the beach – Kill Devil Hills is the perfect place to call home!

Just like its northern neighbor, Kitty Hawk, it is broken up into three main sections, oceanside, between the highways, and west side. While there are plenty of luxurious oceanfront homes in KDH there are several neighborhoods that are geared to year-round living. Bay Drive in KDH westside offers spectacular sound views. Kill Devil Hills is also home to Wright Brothers National Park, the site of man’s first powered flight achieved by Orville and Wilbur Wright on December 17, 1903. Click below to see what is available.
